LOCAL CAMPAIGN
national movement

Social change begins when we listen to the individual voices that make up a community of people. This is why, in 2014, across a period of two weeks, 100’s of organisations and community volunteers mobilised across an entire city: They were determined to find out, directly from people who need it the most, which type of housing and which support services best matched the needs of individuals and families looking for a safe place to call home in Brisbane, Australia.

This event kickstarted a three-year long campaign for public and community services to forge rapid, situation-appropriate responses to coordinate housing and services aligned to individual needs. The campaign has now been repeated in many cities across country and sparked a national movement to end homelessness in Australia.

From the first seed of an idea to a national movement, we’ve been there. We are happy to share the learning with you and to build on your learning experiences too.  Contact us and let’s start our next conversation together.
